Amazing Planet Farm in Williamsville, VT is 12 miles north of Brattleboro. Of all the things for which we are excited, we are really really excited that we get to get married here. 

Sam and Slug (who own and run Amazing Planet) have an incredibly beautiful farm, and we get to camp out there overnight! This is pretty important for us, since it means that folks don’t have to shell out for a hotel, and also can stick around and have adventures well into the night. 

But this isn’t State Park camping. The outhouse is close, but it’s an outhouse. For folks with little ones we can stake out some sites near the in-house, but the septic system can’t take much more than baby-doos. Also, the in-house will be in the house that will be housing some of our guests, so we’ll have to plan around that. We are pretty sure that none of you will bat an eye at this, but it seemed that full disclosure would be best.

Also, there are 2 roosters. Farm.

If you’re allergic to the kinds of things you find on a farm around harvest time – like, say, ragweed – you probably will want to bring some sort of something for that.

The really awesome stuff! Is that there is a swimming hole a short walk up the river! And Indian Love Call (a famously awesome swimming hole with a great jumping rock) is a 15 minute walk in the other direction! Bring your bathing suits! We mean it: bring them. We can play lawn games and swim all day, and dance and swim all night, and have a bonfire! 

We really hope you choose to stay the night! However, if you’d rather hotel it, the options are mostly in Brattleboro, Vt. or thereabouts.

There’s the Latchis Hotel right in downtown Brattleboro. They just fixed their elevator!

The Colonial Motel is over on Putney Road.

We actually dare you – no, we double-dog dare you – to stay at Dalem’s Chalet.

And of course we have local Inns of the varieties Holiday, Super 8, Red Roof, and Hampton
